California High School Soccer - Archbishop Mitty knocks off Homestead
January 18, 2025: San Jose, CA 95129 The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now hold a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a WCAL challenge on Wednesday, January 22. Archbishop Mitty will encounter a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 0-0 league St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Homestead moves to 2-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a SCVAL - De Anza challenge on Wednesday, January 22.
