January 18, 2025: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 45-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cleveland advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Storm travel to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-3. Cibola won 77-59 in their recent non-league match against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Artesia for a non-league match on Friday, January 24.
