January 18, 2025: Fort Morgan, CO 80701 Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO), 63-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fort Morgan advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to University (Greeley, CO) to face the Bulldogs in a match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-0. University won 68-22 in their recent league match against Valley (Gilcrest, CO)
The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colorado Academy for a match on Wednesday, January 22. The Academy will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
