Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly victorious over Sexton
January 18, 2025: Lansing, MI 48917 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Waverly Warriors basketball team scored a good 81-69 triumph over the Sexton Big Reds.
The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Jackson topped Ypsilanti (Ypsilanti, MI), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Big Reds encounter the Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Sexton will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
