January 18, 2025: Maurice, LA 70555 The Comeaux Spartans soccer team (Lafayette, LA), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Saturday's league match with the host North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA)
With the triumph, North Vermilion moves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Erath (Erath, LA) to meet the Bobcats in a Division III District 3 match on Monday, January 20. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 7-4.
The Spartans now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westgate for a Division II District 4 match on Tuesday, January 21. Comeaux will meet a Tigers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-14.
