Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Conestoga holds off Springfield
January 19, 2022: Berwyn, PA 19312 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) and the visiting Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA), saw Conestoga's basketball squad hold off Springfield by a tally of 29-28.
With the victory, Conestoga improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Harriton (Rosemont, PA) to confront the Rams in a Central challenge on Friday, January 21. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Harriton lost 38-36 in their recent league challenge against Haverford (Havertown, PA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) in a Central challenge, on Friday, January 21. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Fords come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 38-36 league win over Harriton (Rosemont, PA).
