January 19, 2022: New Orleans, LA 70117 The Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Franklinton Demons to 55 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wright for a 3A District 10 contest on Thursday, January 20. Frederick A. Douglass will battle a team coming off a 69-66 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA). The record now stands at 8-7.
The Demons (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The enter the 4A District 9 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeshore ran past Salmen (Slidell, LA), 91-78, in a league contest.
