In Wednesday's non-league outing, the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) basketball squad beat the visiting Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), by a count of 73-55.

The Black Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the Mountain State outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Parkersburg defeated Ripley (Ripley, WV), 60-53, in a non-league outing.
