January 19, 2022: Joliet, IL 60432 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) and the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), saw Lincoln-Way West's basketball squad overcome Joliet Central by a tally of 69-57.
With the victory, Lincoln-Way West improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to confront the Raiders in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, January 21. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Bolingbrook won 74-35 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL)
Next up, the Steelmen confront the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie challenge, on Friday, January 21. Joliet Central will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 42-39 league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
