Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 52-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Herscher upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Tigers host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a Illinois Central 8 bout on Thursday, January 20. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Peotone won 57-15 in their recent non-league bout against Momence (Momence, IL)

Next up, the Chargers play the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) in a River Valley bout, on Thursday, January 20. Tri-Point will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 46-27 non-league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL).
