January 19, 2023: Glenwood, MN 56334 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) and the host Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN), saw Barnesville's basketball squad wallop Minnewaska Area by a tally of 79-38.
With the victory, Barnesville improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN) to confront the Rebels in a AA Section 8 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton won 72-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN)
Next up, the Lakers confront the Benson (Benson, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Minnewaska Area will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record.
