January 19, 2023: Chanute, KS 66720 The Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) basketball crushed the host Chanute Blue Comets (Chanute, KS), 73-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Stags (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Andover Central (Andover, KS). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Andover Central walloped Emporia (Emporia, KS), 41-35, in a non-league test.
The Blue Comets now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Haysville Campus for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Chanute will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Parkview (Springfield, MO). The Colts record now stands at 3-6.
