Massachusetts High School Basketball - Brockton edges Wachusett Regional
January 19, 2023: Brockton, MA 02301 The Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA), 55-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Boxers (6-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Lynn, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, St. Mary's got by Burke (Dorchester, MA), 64-57, in a non-league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Shepherd Hill Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A test on Saturday, January 21. Wachusett Regional will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 60-39 non-league win over Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Rams record now stands at 11-0.
