Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE) supporters were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE), 61-56 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Lourdes Central Catholic improves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Elmwood-Murdock lost 64-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Lewiston will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
