Michigan High School Basketball - Academy of the Sacred Heart ripped by Notre Dame Prep

The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles to 11 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Shore for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Notre Dame Prep will battle a Shorians team coming off a 45-7 non-league loss to Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Shorians record now stands at 1-12.

The Gazelles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI). The Jaguars enter the Catholic C-D D contest with a 3-6 record.
