The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Central Bearcats to 51 in the Maroon Giants league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroon Giants now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattawan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Kalamazoo Central will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 48-24 non-league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
