January 19, 2023: Salem, OR 97305 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Scio Loggers basketball team scored a good 42-29 triumph over the Chemawa Indian Braves.
In their next game, the Loggers meet the Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) in a 3A PacWest match, on Saturday, January 21. Scio will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record.
With the defeat, Chemawa Indian moves to 0-1 on the year. The Braves travel to Santiam (Mill City, OR) to meet the Wolverines in a 2A Tri-River match on Friday, January 20. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 4-10. Santiam lost 45-36 in their recent league match against Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR)
