Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) and the host Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA), saw L.C. Bird's basketball squad wallop Clover Hill by a tally of 56-16.

With the victory, L.C. Bird improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Steward won 56-24 in their recent league challenge against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Clover Hill will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 74-55 league win over Monacan (Richmond, VA).
