Kansas High School Basketball - Iola can't hold off Crest
January 19, 2023: Iola, KS 66749 The Crest Lancers basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Iola Mustangs to 32 in the Lancers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lancers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marmaton Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Crest will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-15 non-league win over Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
The Mustangs (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Yates Center was nudged by Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS), 44-15, in a non-league contest.
