Wisconsin High School Basketball - Portage overwhelmed by Edgewood
January 19, 2023: Madison, WI 53711 The Edgewood Crusaders basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Portage Warriors to 9 in the Crusaders league victory on Thursday.
The Crusaders now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laconia for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Edgewood will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-41 non-league win over Fond du Lac Christian (North Fond du Lac, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 17-1.
The Warriors (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Vikings come into the Badger - West contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Mount Horeb was routed by Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI), 73-41, in a league contest.
