January 19, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70812 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), saw University Lab's basketball squad hold off Glen Oaks by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, University Lab improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Cubs host Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Parkview Baptist won 64-2 in their recent league challenge against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 3A District 6 challenge, on Monday, January 23. Glen Oaks will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record.
