The Socastee Braves basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Marion Swamp Foxes to 51 in the Braves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Braves now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumter for a AAAAA Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Swamp Foxes (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mullins (Mullins, SC). The Auctioneers enter the AA Region 8 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Mullins was defeated by Kingstree (Kingstree, SC), 60-41, in a league contest.
