The South Park Eagles basketball team (South Park, PA), was overwhelmed 53-19 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA)

The Tigers now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mars for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Moon Area will battle a Fightin' Planets team coming off a 70-25 league win over New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 9-2.

The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Mt. Pleasant trounced Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA), 60-29, in a non-league battle.
