Indiana High School Basketball - Peru beaten by Pioneer

January 19, 2023: Royal Center, IN 46978

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Pioneer Panthers basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the Peru Tigers.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 20. Pioneer will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 78-57 league loss to Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN).

With the defeat, Peru moves to 8-12 on the year. The Tigers host Wabash (Wabash, IN) to meet the Apaches in a Three Rivers match on Wednesday, January 25. The Apaches enter the match with a record of 13-7. Wabash lost 62-53 in their recent league match against North Miami (Denver, IN)
