Arkansas High School Basketball - Wright Christian overwhelms Union Christian Academy
January 19, 2023: Fort Smith, AR 72904 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wright Christian Wildcats (Tulsa, OK) and the host Union Christian Academy Eagles (Fort Smith, AR), saw Wright Christian's basketball squad wallop Union Christian Academy by a count of 43-17.
With the victory, Wright Christian upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. Lincoln Christian won 70-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK)
Next up, the Eagles play the Arkansas Christian Academy Knights (Bryant, AR) in a Heartland Christian challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Union Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 47-34 league win over Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR).
