Florida High School Basketball - Naples overwhelmed by Gulf Coast
January 19, 2023: Naples, FL 34102 The Gulf Coast Sharks basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Naples Golden Eagles to 43 in the Sharks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Sharks now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canterbury for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Gulf Coast will battle a Cougars team coming off a 69-46 non-league loss to Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Golden Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Palmetto Ridge (Naples, FL). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Palmetto Ridge triumphed over Bonita Springs (Bonita Springs, FL), 63-24, in a non-league contest.
