Texas High School Soccer - Bridgeport knocks off Canyon
January 19, 2023: Canyon, TX 79015 Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulls confront the Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Bridgeport will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Rangers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-2 non-league Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
The Eagles now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dumas for a 4A Region 1 District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. Canyon will confront a Demons team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Demons record now stands at 1-6.
