Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Michael fells Brusly
January 19, 2024: Brusly, LA 70719 St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA), 55-41 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Michael upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Warriors host Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Bengals in a 4A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Belaire won 56-48 in their recent league bout against Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Brusly will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 18-6 record after their 75-69 non-league loss to North Central (Lebeau, LA).
