Missouri High School Basketball - Chrisman can't hold off Hickman
January 19, 2024: Independence, MO 64050 The Hickman Kewpies basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Chrisman Bears to 56 in the Kewpies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Kewpies now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Helias for a Central Missouri contest on Tuesday, January 23. Hickman will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 63-51 league win over Capital City (Jefferson City, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-4.
The Bears (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Park Hill South (Riverside, MO). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Park Hill South was nudged by North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO), 56-32, in a non-league contest.
