Ohio High School Basketball - Edon knocked off by Hilltop
January 19, 2024: Edon, OH 43518 The Hilltop Cadets basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Edon Bombers to 69 in the Cadets league triumph on Friday.
The Cadets now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montpelier for a Buckeye Border contest on Friday, January 26. Hilltop will meet a Locomotives team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, OH). The Locomotives record now stands at 5-6.
The Bombers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH). The Green Bears enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Ottawa Hills was defeated by Maumee Valley Country Day (Toledo, OH), 74-56, in a league contest.
