January 19, 2024: Claremont, NH 03743 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) and the host Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH), saw Hopkinton's basketball squad overcome Stevens by a tally of 58-42.
With the victory, Hopkinton improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to confront the Toppers in a Division III challenge on Friday, January 26. The Toppers come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Stevens will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 60-40 league win over Newport (Newport, NH).
