South Dakota High School Basketball - Wakpala falls to Little Wound
January 19, 2024: Wakpala, SD 57658 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Little Wound Mustangs basketball team scored a good 76-62 triumph over the Wakpala Sioux.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD) in a A Region 7 match, on Tuesday, January 23. Little Wound will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Tatanka enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 77-65 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD).
With the defeat, Wakpala moves to 5-6 on the year. The Sioux travel to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE) to meet the Chiefs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 25. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 5-9.
