Michigan High School Basketball - Menominee trounces Peshtigo
January 19, 2024: Menominee, MI 49858 The Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI), 63-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Maroons (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers go into the Great Northern U.P. test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Kingsford walloped North Dickinson (Felch, MI), 75-33, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sevastopol for a Packerland test on Saturday, January 20. Peshtigo will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 62-48 league loss to Oconto (Oconto, WI). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-10.
