Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverside Academy falls to Mentorship Academy
January 19, 2024: Reserve, LA 70084 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks basketball team scored a good 68-52 triumph over the Riverside Academy Rebels.
In their next game, the Sharks meet the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) in a 3A District 6 match, on Tuesday, January 23. Mentorship Academy will attempt to better on its 16-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 15-9 record after their 87-56 league win over Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA).
With the defeat, Riverside Academy moves to 3-12 on the year. The Rebels travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to meet the Comets in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 23. The Comets enter the match with a record of 14-3. St. Charles Catholic won 62-51 in their recent non-league match against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA)
