Michigan High School Basketball - Zion Christian can't hold off Calhoun Christian
January 19, 2024: Battle Creek, MI 49016 The Calhoun Christian Cougars basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Zion Christian Mountaineers to 33 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kellogg for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Calhoun Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 59-17 league loss to Martin (Martin, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
The Mountaineers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Defenders enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record.
