New York High School Basketball - Rush-Henrietta thwarts Edison Tech
January 19, 2024: Henrietta, NY 14467 The Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Edison Tech Inventors (Rochester, NY), 38-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Royal Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Wellsville (Wellsville, NY). The Lions go into the Section 5 Freelance test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Wellsville notched a victory over Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY), 48-23, in a non-league test.
The Inventors now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Eastridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Edison Tech will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Our Lady of Mercy (Rochester, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 9-4.
