With the win, Orangefield upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Bobcats host Buna (Buna, TX) to play the Cougars in a 3A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 20-9. Buna lost 66-38 in their recent league bout against Kountze (Kountze, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Kirbyville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 40-38 league win over Warren (Warren, TX).
