The Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ) varsity basketball team won Friday's neutral tournament game against Utah School for the Deaf & Blind (Ogden, UT) by a score of 24-12.
The Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners basketball team scored 24 points and held the host Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles to 12 in the Roadrunners non-league triumph on Friday.
The Roadrunners now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oregon School for the Deaf for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Washington School for the Deaf (Vancouver, WA). The Terriers enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Washington School for the Deaf ran past Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ), 34-10, in a non-league contest.
