New Mexico High School Basketball - Shiprock succumbs to Bernalillo
January 19, 2024: Bernalillo, NM 87004 The Bernalillo Spartans topped the visiting Shiprock Chieftains basketball team by a final score of 39-25 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 23. Bernalillo will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 1-8 record after their 44-31 non-league loss to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).
With the defeat, Shiprock moves to 4-6 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Monarchs in a non-league game on Saturday, January 20. The Monarchs enter the game with a record of 0-9.
