January 19, 2024: Terrell, TX 75160 Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) backers went home satisfied Friday as they saw their soccer squad knock off the host Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Lions now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Longview for a 5A Region 2 District 15 test on Friday, January 26. Tyler will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Terrell drops to 1-6 on the season. The Tigers host Community (Nevada, TX) to meet the Braves in a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. The Braves come into the test with a record of 3-4. Community lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX)
