The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN), 42-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Anderson Crusaders (Anderson, IN). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
