Illinois High School Basketball - Rauner can't hold off Ellison
January 19, 2024: Chicago, IL 60620 The Ellison Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Rauner Wildcats to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Hammond Academy of Science & Tech for a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. Ellison will play a Hawks squad coming off a 55-19 non-league win over Portage Christian (Portage, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Comer Catamounts (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Saturday, January 20. Rauner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
