January 19, 2024: Progreso, TX 78579 The Progreso Red Ants held off the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Red Ants now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to IDEA College Prep for a 4A Region 4 District 31 match on Tuesday, January 23. Progreso will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to IDEA Quest College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The Griffins record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo drops to 1-3 on the season. The Bears host San Benito (San Benito, TX) to encounter the Greyhounds in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 23. The Greyhounds come into the match with a record of 4-2.
