January 19, 2025: Oak Park, IL 60302 Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), 51-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fenwick advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Friars host Leo (Chicago, IL) to face the Lions in a match on Friday, January 24. The Lions enter the match with a record of 12-9. Leo won 42-22 in their recent non-league match against Taft (Chicago, IL)
The Warriors now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a match on Tuesday, January 21. Westinghouse will face a Lions squad coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.
