January 2, 2023: Columbus, OH 43204 The Centennial Stars (Columbus, OH) basketball knocked off the host West Cowboys (Columbus, OH), 62-47 in Monday's non-league test.
The Stars (4-7) will now prepare for their test against East (Columbus, OH). The Tigers go into the Columbus City - North test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, East went down by Thurgood Marshall (Dayton, OH), 68-50, in a non-league test.
The Cowboys now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Africentric Early College for a Columbus City - South test on Friday, January 6. West will encounter a Nubians squad coming off a 78-57 non-league win over Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH). The Nubians record now stands at 7-2.
