Virginia High School Basketball - Hermitage overwhelms Prince George
January 2, 2023: Prince George, VA 23875 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) and the host Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), saw Hermitage's basketball squad wallop Prince George by a count of 65-40.
With the victory, Hermitage upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to play the Crimson Wave in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Crimson Wave come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Petersburg won 59-53 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)
Next up, the Royals play the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Prince George will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 68-61 non-league win over Godwin (Richmond, VA).
