South Dakota High School Basketball - Lyman tops Sully Buttes
January 2, 2023: Presho, SD 57568 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) and the visiting Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD), saw Lyman's basketball squad knock off Sully Buttes by a count of 56-47.
With the victory, Lyman upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Gregory (Gregory, SD) to play the Gorillas in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Gorillas come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Chargers play the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) in a B Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Sully Buttes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 60-39 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
