The Prairie Central Hawks tipped the host Canton Little Giants basketball team by a final score of 56-54 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a Illini Prairie game, on Thursday, January 5. Prairie Central will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 57-18 non-league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL).
