January 2, 2023: Milford, NE 68405 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the visiting Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), saw Milford's basketball squad hold off Falls City by a count of 31-28.
With the victory, Milford upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to play the Clippers in a C1 District 6 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Clippers come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Malcolm won 58-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Falls City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 33-23 non-league loss to Ralston (Ralston, NE).
