Missouri High School Basketball - Winnetonka holds off Odessa
January 2, 2023: Odessa, MO 64076 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) and the host Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO), saw Winnetonka's basketball squad hold off Odessa by a tally of 60-56.
With the victory, Winnetonka improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Northeast (Kansas City, MO) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Northeast lost 77-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Grandview (Grandview, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Odessa will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 61-26 league loss to Kirksville (Kirksville, MO).
